What It Does
X-Guard Additive integrates into water-based leather finishes to form a tougher, more stable protective film. It raises resistance to mechanical wear, improves anti-soiling behaviour and helps the coating withstand UV exposure — keeping colour fresh and surfaces cleaner for longer.
X-Guard Technology is also integrated in several LeTech care products (e.g., selected creams, lotions and top coats), demonstrating proven in-range performance.

Recommended Workflow (Overview)
- Prepare the finish: measure Top Coat, then add 10–15 % X-Guard Additive. Mix thoroughly until homogeneous.
- Test panel: check sprayability, levelling and gloss on a sample piece; adjust air pressure/flow if needed.
- Apply: spray thin, even coats per the Top Coat’s guidance; allow proper flash-off between coats.
- Cure: let the coating dry/cure as specified in the Top Coat instructions before handling or polishing.
Always perform a small-area test on the target leather. Follow the host Top Coat’s safety and application instructions.
