Light Filler
Leather Light Filler
Professional, water-based repair compound for superficial leather damage — scratches, scuffs, light cracks and worn edges. Creamy, homogeneous consistency spreads cleanly, bonds strongly to leather and forms a flexible, wear-resistant repair layer ready for recolouring.
What It Does
Leather Light Filler is formulated to fill shallow defects and restore a smooth, even surface before colour work. The compound wets and grips leather fibres, cures quickly, and remains elastic so the repair withstands bending without cracking.
Optimised for thin, controlled layers applied with a spatula or soft tool. Ideal on seat bolsters, edges, corners and other high-wear areas prior to primer/colour/top-coat.
Professional Applications
- Automotive interiors: bolster scuffs, light cracks, steering-wheel touch zones.
- Furniture: worn edges, surface scratches, local scuff repair.
- Leather goods: bags, shoes and accessories with superficial defects.
Compatible Leather Types
For finished/pigmented leather and many coated PU/artificial leather surfaces. Always test on an inconspicuous area.
Not recommended for suede or nubuck.

Tips & Related Products
- Degrease and remove weak finish before filling to maximise adhesion.
- Apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat to avoid texture build-up.
- For deeper defects use Leather Heavy Filler, then finish with Light Filler for final levelling.
- Replicate grain with Leather Grain Copier if required before recolouring.
