What It Does

Leather Liquid Degreaser penetrates pores and capillaries of leather, lifting oils and silicones that interfere with adhesion. Unlike solvent-based degreasers, its advanced waterborne formula with active absorbents cleans effectively yet gently, without causing drying or whitening of the surface.

Used as the first step in all repair and recolouring workflows to guarantee clean, stable adhesion of Leather Binder, Fillers, Primer and Colourant.

Compatible Leather Types

Suitable for all finished, pigmented, semi-aniline and synthetic (PU) leather surfaces. Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid use on suede and nubuck.

Apply with lint-free cloth; replace cloth as it becomes soiled.
Repeat degreasing until no residue appears on the cloth.
Follow immediately with Leather Binder or Leather Primer for best adhesion.

How to Use – Step by Step

Preparation — Shake well before use. Work in a ventilated area.
Apply — Dampen a clean lint-free cloth or sponge with Leather Liquid Degreaser.
Wipe — Gently rub the surface, removing oils, silicones and residues.
Repeat — Change cloths and repeat until no residue appears on the wipe.
Dry — Let the surface air-dry completely (2–5 minutes).
Continue Workflow — Proceed with Leather Binder, Filler, Primer, or Colourant application.
Testing — Always test on an inconspicuous area before full use.
