Leather Ink & Dye Transfer Remover
Highly effective, leather-safe solution for removing stubborn ink and jeans dye transfer from finished leathers. Acts fast, works clean, and protects the finish when used as directed.
What It Does
Loosens ink and dye so contamination transfers to your swab or pad — with minimal mechanical friction. Optimised for finished/pigmented leather in automotive interiors, furniture, bags, footwear, and apparel.
Highlights
- Pen ink, marker/felt-tip traces, and jeans dye transfer.
- Gentle to the finish when used correctly; no harsh solvent smell.
- Efficient workflow — a small amount goes a long way.
Usage Rate (Indicative)
- Car seat jeans dye transfer — up to ~10 spot removals from 100 ml.
- Individual pen marks — 100+ small traces.
Workflow
Moisten a cotton swab (or nonwoven pad for larger areas), gently roll along the stain to lift it onto the tool, refresh the swab frequently. After drying, clean residues with LeTech Leather Ultimate Cleaner, then protect with Leather Protection Cream X-Guard Protection.
Leather Alcohol Cleaner
Professional alcohol-based cleaner for targeted removal of stubborn contamination on leather, vinyl and PU. Quickly breaks down oils, dye transfer and residues, flashes off without sticky film and leaves the surface clean for subsequent repair or finishing steps.
What It Does
Leather Alcohol Cleaner provides controlled solvent action to lift greasy soils, hand/body oils, dye transfer from textiles and light ink marks*. It leaves minimal residue, helping achieve a uniform, receptive surface for Leather Binder, Fillers, Primer and Colourant.
Use for spot cleaning and finish preparation where a water-only degreaser is insufficient. Always test on a hidden area to check sensitivity and colourfastness.
*Effect on permanent inks varies; complete removal is not guaranteed.
Professional Applications
- Automotive: steering wheels, bolsters, armrests and door panels before refinishing.
- Furniture: high-touch zones with glossy build-up or dye transfer.
- Leather goods: handles/straps and local prep before colour repair.
Compatible Leather Types
Finished/pigmented leather and many coated PU/artificial leather surfaces. Not recommended for suede or nubuck. On aniline/semi-aniline, use with extreme care and test first.

Leather Liquid Degreaser
Professional liquid degreaser for leather, vinyl and PU. Effectively removes oils, silicones, residues and embedded contamination from the surface and pores without damaging the finish — essential for proper adhesion of primers, fillers, and colour systems.
What It Does
Leather Liquid Degreaser penetrates pores and capillaries of leather, lifting oils and silicones that interfere with adhesion. Unlike solvent-based degreasers, its advanced waterborne formula with active absorbents cleans effectively yet gently, without causing drying or whitening of the surface.
Used as the first step in all repair and recolouring workflows to guarantee clean, stable adhesion of Leather Binder, Fillers, Primer and Colourant.
Professional Applications
- Automotive: seats, bolsters, steering wheels and trim panels before colour work.
- Furniture: sofas, armrests and cushions for pre-clean preparation.
- Leather goods: bags, footwear, jackets prior to restoration or finishing.
Compatible Leather Types
Suitable for all finished, pigmented, semi-aniline and synthetic (PU) leather surfaces. Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Avoid use on suede and nubuck.

Leather Degreaser
Professional gel-based formula for extracting oil, grease, and sebum from leather without damaging its structure. Suitable for both restoration and preparation before dyeing or refinishing.
What It Does
Leather Degreaser is a thick, absorbing gel designed to draw deeply embedded oils and greasy contaminants out of leather. Once dry, the gel turns into a powder, lifting contaminants to the surface for easy removal. Its indicator effect shows areas with remaining contamination via visible discoloration, guiding precise reapplication.
This product is an essential preparatory step before recoloring leather, especially in cases where natural or body oils have compromised surface absorption.
Professional Applications
- Automotive: Removes grease from steering wheels, headrests, and seats.
- Furniture: Treats oil stains on armrests, cushions, and frequently touched areas.
- Garments: Degreases leather jackets, collars, and accessories affected by skin oils.
- Restoration: Critical before recoloring or restoring aniline and semi-aniline leather.
Can be used on aniline, semi-aniline, pull-up, vegetable-tanned, waxed leather, suede, and nubuck.
Compatible Leather Types
Leather Degreaser is compatible with:
- Aniline leather
- Semi-aniline leather
- Pull-up leather
