Leather Balm — Leather Care Wax by LeTech

Leather Balm is a leather care balm available in five different fragrance options, each with its own unique character. It is designed for regular care of natural leather, especially vegetable-tanned and aniline-type leathers, adding a very light darkening effect while enriching the color and protecting the surface.

The balm provides conditioning and protective properties and gives leather a pleasant tactile feel. With regular use, Leather Balm helps preserve the original beauty and softness of natural leather for a long time, protects it from water and ultraviolet exposure and significantly extends the service life of your leather goods. Leather Balm is also suitable for final-stage protection during the manufacturing of leather items, helping to reliably preserve the product and give it a pleasant scent.

Fragrance Options

Leather Balm is available in five fragrance variations, each with its own unique properties:

1. Rose Scent

   A gentle, refined rose fragrance created by adding natural rose oil to the balm.

2. Tar Scent

   The addition of high-quality tar gives the balm a pleasant, slightly sweet, oily aroma with notes of smoke and wood. The tar version also enhances preservative properties and helps prevent mold and bacterial growth on leather.

3. Leather Scent

   The scent of premium natural leather makes interaction with your leather item even more enjoyable and emphasizes its uniqueness.

4. Citronella Scent

   A fresh aroma with lemon notes that not only pleases with its fragrance, but also effectively repels mosquitoes and insects. An ideal choice for caring for leather saddles and tack.

Leather Resist & Seal from the Craft Line is a protective finish developed specifically to create a stronger, clearer antique effect on leather while protecting the surface. This product works perfectly in combination with Leather Antique Gel, acting both as a resist and as a protective sealer. Leather Resist & Seal also helps shield leather from moisture, dirt and fading.

The product is designed to prevent Leather Antique Gel from fully penetrating areas where the resist has been applied. As a result, the antique gel settles more deeply into tooling and embossing, creating high contrast, emphasizing the pattern and making the leather item more visually expressive.

Leather Resist & Seal forms a highly elastic, durable and resistant film. Once dried and cured, it improves resistance to abrasion, scratching, moisture and solvent exposure, helping to maintain the appearance and performance of your leather projects.

Leather Burnishing Gum is a colourless, water-based wax designed for the professional finishing of natural leather edges. Its balanced consistency makes it easy to apply, spread and then buff to a smooth, polished finish. Once worked in and burnished, the product delivers a refined edge with a subtle gloss and water-repellent properties.

Leather Burnishing Gum combines natural waxes and water-based polymers. The components are selected to optimize burnishing performance, allowing the edge to be compacted, smoothed and polished for a clean, professional look and reliable protection. The wax creates a smooth, glossy and well-finished edge that enhances the overall appearance of hand-crafted leather goods.

The product can be used on both vegetable-tanned and chrome-tanned leathers. It is also suitable for treating the flesh side (back side) of natural leather where a more controlled, refined surface is required.
