Step 1 — Mix the Hardener
Add 5–15% of Leather Cross Linker X to your polyurethane finishing product:
- Leather Primer (adhesion activator)
- Leather Colourant (leather paint)
- Leather Top Coat (protective finish)
Mix thoroughly before application. Higher percentages provide greater hardness and protection; lower percentages help preserve a softer feel.
Important: once mixed, the product must be used within 2 hours. Mix only the amount you plan to use immediately.
Step 2 — Apply in Thin, Even Layers
Apply the mixed product as directed for the base product (Primer / Colourant / Top Coat). Thin, even coats provide the best finish and durability.
Step 3 — Heat-Dry Each Layer
