What It Does

Leather Light Filler is formulated to fill shallow defects and restore a smooth, even surface before colour work. The compound wets and grips leather fibres, cures quickly, and remains elastic so the repair withstands bending without cracking.

Optimised for thin, controlled layers applied with a spatula or soft tool. Ideal on seat bolsters, edges, corners and other high-wear areas prior to primer/colour/top-coat.

Furniture: worn edges, surface scratches, local scuff repair.

Compatible Leather Types

For finished/pigmented leather and many coated PU/artificial leather surfaces. Always test on an inconspicuous area.

Not recommended for suede or nubuck.

How to Use – Step by Step

Surface Prep — Clean and degrease; remove any weak/flaking finish and feather defect edges.
First Pass — With a spatula or soft squeegee, apply a thin, even layer of Leather Light Filler; wipe excess beyond the defect.
Dry — Allow to air-dry or use gentle warm air (exact temperature/time requires verification).
Build — Repeat with multiple thin layers, drying each layer fully until the surface is level.
Refine — If permitted by TDS, lightly finish/smooth the repair (sanding guidance requires verification).
System Finish — Apply Leather Primer, then Leather Colourant, then Leather Top Coat to protect.
Deeper Damage — Use Leather Heavy Filler for deeper voids, then skim with Light Filler for final levelling.
Test First — Always test adhesion and finishing steps on a hidden area.
