Leather Resist & Seal from the Craft Line is a protective finish developed specifically to create a stronger, clearer antique effect on leather while protecting the surface. This product works perfectly in combination with Leather Antique Gel, acting both as a resist and as a protective sealer. Leather Resist & Seal also helps shield leather from moisture, dirt and fading.

The product is designed to prevent Leather Antique Gel from fully penetrating areas where the resist has been applied. As a result, the antique gel settles more deeply into tooling and embossing, creating high contrast, emphasizing the pattern and making the leather item more visually expressive.

Leather Resist & Seal forms a highly elastic, durable and resistant film. Once dried and cured, it improves resistance to abrasion, scratching, moisture and solvent exposure, helping to maintain the appearance and performance of your leather projects.

Instructions – Leather Resist & Seal CRAFT LINE

Leather Resist & Seal CRAFT LINE is developed specifically to protect leather and to create a clearer, more pronounced “antique” effect on the surface. The product works ideally in combination with Leather Antique Gel. Leather Resist & Seal is also an excellent product for protecting leather from moisture, dirt and fading.

Before Application

Shake well before use.
Before applying Leather Resist & Seal or Leather Antique Gel, thoroughly clean the leather using Leather Ultimate Cleaner and prepare it for dyeing or finishing.
Make sure the leather surface has been properly cleaned and prepared.
Always test the product on a small, inconspicuous area first to check for any unwanted reactions and to confirm that the result meets your expectations.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Using Leather Resist & Seal as a Resist (Before Leather Antique Gel)

Ensure the leather is clean and dry.
Apply Leather Resist & Seal to the areas where you want to reduce the penetration of Leather Antique Gel. Use an applicator sponge or a felt dauber/roller to apply an even layer.
Allow the coating to dry completely.
Apply Leather Antique Gel according to your antique finishing process. Leather Resist & Seal will prevent the gel from soaking into the protected areas, while the gel will be absorbed into tooling and recessed areas.
This creates a strong contrast, emphasizes the tooling pattern and makes the leather item more visually attractive.

Leather Resist & Seal has excellent film-forming ability, creating a highly elastic, strong and externally resistant film.

Using Leather Resist & Seal as a Protective Top Coat

Leather Resist & Seal can also be applied at the final stage after dyeing the leather or after using Leather Antique Gel, to reliably lock in the result and protect the surface.
The best application method for a uniform protective layer is spraying via airbrush or spray gun.
Apply in thin, even coats and avoid over-applying. Excessive build-up of the protective layer may alter the leather color and increase stiffness.

Drying and Curing

Drying time depends on ambient temperature and humidity.
As a rule, the coated surface can be put into light use approximately 2–3 hours after application.
Full curing and film crystallization typically takes 8–12 hours.

Return & Refund Policy

We sell professional leather-care chemicals, so our return conditions are strict. Please read them before ordering.

Return window: request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery.
Accepted only if sealed: the product must be unopened, still factory-sealed, unused and in its original undamaged packaging with all labels and accessories.
Opened or used products cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged — for health, hygiene and transport-safety reasons. This covers all cleaners, colourants, finishes, additives, adhesives and dyes.
No exchanges: an approved return is refunded to the original payment method.
Prior authorisation required: write to office@le-tech.us with your order number and photos before sending anything back. Items sent without authorisation are not accepted and not refunded.
Return address: LeTech USA, 7843 Settlers Ridge Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89145, United States.
Return shipping: paid by the customer (use a trackable method). Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Inspection & refund timing: every return is inspected on arrival. If it is sealed and unused, the refund is issued within 5 business days of the inspection. If it was opened or used, the return is declined.
