How to use
1) Applying Surface Repair
- Apply in any convenient way: sponge applicator, spatula, or brush.
- Carefully fill fine cracks with thin layers.
- Dry using a hair dryer. The water-based formula dries within minutes.
- Expect slight shrinkage while drying—apply multiple thin layers, drying each layer thoroughly.
- If you need tinting: add 10% LeTech Leather Colourant (by volume) to achieve the desired shade.
2) Applying Leather Colourant
- Shake the colorant thoroughly before use.
- For the best decorative result, apply evenly in thin layers by spraying (spray gun or airbrush).
- Pneumatic spraying: dilution with distilled water is allowed.
- Nozzle diameter: 0.5–1.2 mm
- Pressure: 1.1–8 bar (depending on equipment)
- Compressed air must be free from water and oil.
- Before spraying: mix thoroughly and filter through 190 micron filter.
- Manual application (sponge/brush/roller) is also allowed for spot repairs, base layers, and color restoration.
3) Protective finishing
- After recoloring, protect the surface with LeTech Leather Top Coat.
- For enhanced durability: add Cross Linker X (5–10%) of total product volume.
- Top Coat is best applied by spraying (airbrush or spray gun) for an even layer.
- Avoid overly thick coats—excess finish may affect color and increase leather stiffness.
- Usable after 2–3 hours, but full curing/crystallization takes 8–12 hours (depends on temperature and humidity).
- Do not use cleaners or apply care products during the first week. After one week, use without limitations.
4) Tool cleaning
- After completing all steps, wash tools thoroughly with water.
- If needed, use LeTech Leather Prep paint solvent.
